Raj Khullar - CFS, CLU^®, ChFC^®, MBA

Raj Khullar is a partner with CFG and has been in the industry since 1988. Prior to joining CFG, he was a Managing Partner with New England Financial of Central Jersey. He has an impressive record of achievement. He joined Nationwide Financial Network in 2004, and in 2005 became the company’s leader in recruiting and freshman FYC. In 2007 he won the First in Class Award recognized by GAMA International as a leading agency of Nationwide Financial Network. While with MONY earlier in his career, Raj won the President’s and Pacesetter Trophy Awards, was a member of the company’s Field Advisory Board, and chaired the Training and Development Committee. He has earned numerous other awards and honors from MONY and New England Financial and has regularly been a qualifying member of MDRT.

Raj will use his extensive management experience to help CFG build its ranks of experienced industry professionals. He leads by example and espouses the traits that he values most. His colleagues have called him approachable, fair, goal-oriented and loyal. He will also be responsible for spearheading CFG’s efforts to serve multi-cultural markets through focused recruiting and marketing and helping to grow the agency’s corporate retirement education program.

Raj is optimistic and philosophical but acknowledges the road hasn’t always been smooth. "I have been through rough times but always rebound," Raj said. He hopes that his reps will say that he is a good coach, hardworking and honest and that he cares about each of them. His mission is to provide opportunity and help people accomplish their goals. "There has never been a better time to be in business," he concluded. "We offer ways to help people achieve their financial goals. We need to recruit individuals and train them to help others find financial security and make a difference in their lives."

Raj grew up in New Delhi, India. He and his wife, Sonu, have two sons, Rahul and Rishi. He enjoys sports, including golf, squash, and traveling. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Delhi, and an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
